Why KeyGrow

Why body shops pick KeyGrow

A driver after a crash needs calm, clear pages. We write them that way on purpose.

Nobody shops for a body shop for fun. Something bad just happened, they're on the phone with an adjuster, and someone has handed them a shop name. It is easy to assume that name is final.

In some states it is not. California, for one, says an insurer shall not require repairs at a specific body shop. Your site is the place to say so calmly, explain how a claim runs through your shop, and give the driver a way to start.

So we build the pages a shaken driver needs. That means the claim steps, a photo estimate form, towing and rental answers, and a short guide to the parts on their estimate.

Calm copy for bad days

We write short, steady sentences for people who just had a crash, and we leave out the hype.

Detailed forms that still work

Our landing page for ViPO asked for real detail in its inquiry form and lifted its conversion rate 120% in 5 weeks. A photo estimate form needs the same care.

Search and ads together

We run Google Ads and SEO as well, so your estimate page is ready for drivers searching right after a crash.

A month of free fixes

For 30 days after launch, bugs and small changes are on us. Then choose a care plan, or edit the site yourself.

Industry guide

What California tells drivers after a crash

California's Department of Insurance gives drivers a short bill of rights for body repairs. Three of its points shape what a body shop site should say. In another state, we write to your state's rules instead.

They can pick the shop

California's Auto Body Repair Consumer Bill of Rights says a consumer can select the body shop. It also says an insurance company shall not require repairs at a specific shop.

What it means for your siteWe write a calm shop choice page for your state and link it from the estimate form, so the driver reads it while deciding.

Every part gets a label

The same document says the estimate and the invoice must list parts and labor, and identify each part as new, used, aftermarket, reconditioned or rebuilt.

What it means for your siteYour site gets a short parts guide that defines each label in one line, so the estimate you send reads clearly.

A second estimate is allowed

It also says a consumer can get an independent estimate straight from a registered body shop, even while pursuing an insurance claim.

What it means for your siteYour photo estimate form works with or without a claim number, so a driver can come to you first.

What you get

Pages a body shop needs after a crash

Each one answers a question a driver has while the car sits on a tow truck.

A claims guide

From the first call to pickup: what the adjuster does, what your shop does and how long each stage can take.

A shop choice page

Written to match your state's rules, in calm words that don't pick a fight with the insurer.

A photo estimate form

A few photos, the claim number if there is one, and a callback time. It works on a phone in a parking lot.

A parts guide

New, used, aftermarket, reconditioned and rebuilt, each defined in one line, so the estimate makes sense.

Towing and key drop

Who to call for a tow, where to leave keys after hours and how to find your lot at night.

Repair stage updates

Teardown, parts, body work, paint and pickup, with how and when you send news.

How it works

Four steps to a working site

We start with how a claim really moves through your shop, then write and build around it.

  4. Weeks 6 to 8

    Test and go live

We send test estimates from several phones, launch, then fix any bug free for the first 30 days.

FAQ

Auto body shop website design answers

Questions body shop owners ask us. Still curious? Email sales@keygrow.co.

If your state gives them that right, yes, in calm words. California's bill of rights says an insurer shall not require repairs at a specific shop. We write the page for your state and keep the tone neutral, since you still work with the insurers.

Say so. Some drivers want a shop their insurer already knows. The site can name the insurers you work with and still explain that the choice belongs to the driver.

The driver uploads a few photos, adds the vehicle and claim details, and picks a callback time. You reply with a first look and book the in-person estimate. It is a starting point, not a final price.

Yes, briefly. Drivers see words like aftermarket or reconditioned on an estimate and worry. A short guide helps them follow the talk with their adjuster and read your estimate without calling you.

Yes, as long as each item is current. We list training, structural repair skills and calibration equipment, with photos of the real gear. Use a carmaker logo only if your certification agreement allows it.

If you offer them, yes. Paintless dent repair and hail work bring different customers, with different questions about time and price.

Explain what your shop arranges and what to ask the insurer. California's bill of rights says drivers have a right to learn about their towing, storage and rental coverage. That makes it a fair topic for your site.

One shop with the claims guide, shop choice page, parts guide and photo estimate form fits our $1,400 plan, copy included. Several locations or a long list of repair types move you to the $2,800 plan.

Six to eight weeks for most body shops. The claims guide takes the most care, because it has to match how your shop and your state really handle claims.

Yes. Your team can swap photos, post a finished repair or change hours in WordPress. We show the front desk how before launch.
