Switches go wrong in the details nobody wrote down. We write them down.
Switching web vendors feels risky, so most owners put it off. The site is slow or dated, the vendor takes a week to reply, and nobody wants to be the person who breaks the company email.
Most of that worry comes from not knowing what moves and what can break. So we spell it out before any work starts. Pages and content come across, and the domain stays the same. Email keeps running because we leave its settings alone. We rebuild each form and send test entries through it, and old page addresses forward to their new homes.
Your old site stays up while we build the new one on a private copy. On launch day we point the domain at the new site and check every form and old link. Rankings can dip for a few weeks after any move, so we watch your traffic and leads through that stretch.
The one thing we need from you early is access: logins for your domain, hosting and analytics. If your current vendor holds them, ask for them before you give notice.
