Why KeyGrow

Why detailers choose KeyGrow

We've worked on detailing bookings before, and we're honest about what that work was.

Detailing customers buy with their eyes. They look at your photos, compare two or three packages and pick a time. If that takes a phone call during your busiest hours, the booking can slip away.

So we build the site to do the selling and the scheduling. Packages read like a menu, so a customer sees the gap between a wash and a full correction at a glance. The calendar only shows times you can really work, and a deposit holds the slot.

If you sell monthly maintenance plans, the checkout spells out the terms and how to cancel. Federal law sets rules for plans like these when you sell them online, and we build the checkout around them.

Proof from the detailing trade

Our Google Ads work for TME Mobile Detailing cut its cost per conversion from $100 to $22 between August and December 2022. That was an ads campaign with a landing page, not a website build, so we count it as ads proof only.

Packages written for you

Copywriting is in every plan, including package names and descriptions that make the gap between tiers obvious.

Booking tested before launch

We make test bookings from several phones, deposits included, before a single customer sees the site.

Bugs fixed free for 30 days

If something breaks in the first month, we fix it. After that, a care plan or your own edits.

Rules that shape a detailing site

Three federal sources that touch your reviews, your memberships and your wash water, and what we build because of each.

Reviews stay honest

The FTC's rule on consumer reviews took effect on October 21, 2024. Its Q&A says you can offer a perk for reviews, as long as you don't require a positive or negative one, openly or by hint.

What it means for your siteYour review request asks for an honest review, and the site lists reviews newest first instead of hiding the mixed ones.

Memberships need clear terms

ROSCA, a federal law from 2010, covers recurring plans sold online. The seller must show all the terms that matter before taking billing details and get the buyer's express informed consent before charging. It must also offer a simple way to stop the charges.

What it means for your siteYour membership checkout shows the price, the billing date and how to cancel before the card field. The account page also has a plain cancel option.

Runoff is a local issue

An EPA fact sheet from February 2023 says outdoor car washing can send soapy water into storm drains. That water may carry nutrients, metals and hydrocarbons. It points to a Fairfax County, Virginia ordinance that bans unpermitted commercial car wash water from storm drains.

What it means for your siteIf you work mobile, your service page says how you handle wash water, so a property manager has the answer before they ask.

FAQ

Auto detailing website design FAQs

What detailers ask us most. Still curious? Email sales@keygrow.co.

Yes, as starting prices by vehicle size, with a note on what can raise them, like pet hair or heavy stains. A clear starting price saves you from quoting jobs that were never going to book.

For long jobs like paint correction or coatings, a deposit holds the slot and gives a no-show a cost. For a quick wash, it can feel like a hurdle, so we set it per package.

Pick a dozen strong before-and-after pairs, grouped by service. A huge gallery slows the page on a phone and buries your best work.

Yes. We build a membership checkout that shows the price, the billing schedule and how to cancel before payment. ROSCA, a federal law, sets those rules for recurring plans sold online.

The FTC's review rule Q&A says a perk is fine if it doesn't depend on the review being positive or negative. Ask for an honest review, and show the results as they come in.

A clear service area, a travel fee if you charge one, and a note on water, power and runoff. The booking form should ask for the address and where the car will be.

Yes. Coatings cost more and raise more questions. Explain the prep, the cure time, the upkeep and what a coating won't do, so buyers expect the right result.

No. We ran their Google Ads and built a landing page for the campaign. From August to December 2022, their cost per conversion went from $100 to $22 and conversions grew 650%. It is ads proof, not website proof.

Most detailers pay $1,400 once for up to six pages, written and built for you. Your booking tool and card processor bill you separately for their service.

Most detailing sites launch in six to eight weeks, and a small one with a single package menu can be ready in four to five. Booking goes live the day the site does.

You do. Packages, prices and photos all live in WordPress, and we walk you through editing them before launch day.
