Web design in Garland that answers the engineer

KeyGrow builds websites for manufacturers and local service firms. Our web design in Garland treats a shop site as a spec sheet. Processes, materials, tolerances, order sizes, lead times and certifications go on the page, with drawings to download. A buyer can tell in about 90 seconds whether you can make their part, then send a drawing for a quote.

  • Buyers qualify you on their ownThe numbers they check first are on the page, so a quote request shows up with the right drawing.
  • Fewer quotes that go nowhereClear limits on size, material and quantity send jobs you would turn down somewhere else.
  • Fewer calls about the basicsEngineers can see what you make and how big a part you take without phoning.
  • Service pages with real pricesFor local service businesses, price ranges, service area and license number go up front.

Our work

Recent builds and what carries over

These builds are for service firms, a mortgage site and a tech platform. None of them is a factory. Look at how each one puts the facts a visitor needs near the top, because that habit is what we bring to your spec pages.

Why KeyGrow

Why plan a spec-first site with KeyGrow

We build the page around what a buyer checks, then fill it with your real numbers.

Picture the engineer on the other end. They have a drawing with a material, a tolerance and a due date. They open your site to learn one thing: can you make this part, in this quantity, by then? Most factory sites answer with a photo of the shop floor and a line about quality.

So the engineer moves to the next name on the list. If that shop posts its numbers, it gets the drawing, even when your machines are better.

We build the other kind of site. Each process gets its own block of numbers, and the quote form asks for the drawing.

Run a service business in Garland instead? The same rule holds. A homeowner wants your service area, a price range and your license number before calling, so those go on the first screen.

Proof from a B2B product page

ViPO, a Swiss company, sells virtual doorman systems in several models. We built it a page with a model comparison and a detailed inquiry form, and its conversion rate rose 120% in 5 weeks.

We interview your estimator

Whoever quotes your jobs knows the real limits. One working session gets those numbers out of their head and onto the page.

Copy written for engineers

Exact units and short lines, with no filler about quality. Writing comes with every plan, and you approve each page.

A month of fixes after launch

For 30 days we fix bugs and broken links at no charge, including any spec sheet that will not download.

What Garland industry means for your website

Each fact below changed something we build.

More than 300 manufacturers

As of 2026, Garland's economic development partnership says the city is home to more than 300 manufacturers. It calls Garland one of the largest manufacturing centers in Texas.

What it means for your siteA buyer can find several nearby shops that run your process. Your numbers are how they tell you apart, so tolerances, sizes and lead times go at the top of each process page.

Freight routes close by

The same partnership lists links to I-30, I-635 and the President George Bush Turnpike (2026). It puts the inland port and the DFW area 30 minutes away.

What it means for your siteBuyers will ask how parts reach their dock. Each spec page gets a shipping block that says where you ship from, how you ship and how many days transit adds.

Many homes online by phone only

In 19.0% of Garland households, a cellular data plan is the only internet service. Statewide, the share is 12.6% (Census, 2020 to 2024).

What it means for your siteLocal service firms should expect visitors on mobile data. We keep those pages light, shrink every photo and put prices, hours and your service area where they load first.

What you get

What we put on your spec pages

Each item answers a question a buyer would otherwise have to email you about.

A capabilities table per process

Materials, the tolerances you hold, part size limits and finishes, laid out in rows a buyer can scan.

Order sizes and lead times

Your minimum order, the run size you price best and a lead time range you can update any day.

Certifications with the standard named

ISO 9001:2015 tells a buyer more than "quality certified." We list each one and link the certificate.

Downloads with no sign-up

Spec sheets and sample drawings open in one click, as PDFs that print cleanly.

A quote form that takes drawings

A buyer attaches a PDF or CAD file and adds the material, quantity and due date in one go.

Editing your estimator can handle

Lead times, capacity notes and certificate dates live in simple WordPress fields that whoever quotes jobs can update.

How it works

Six steps from interview to launch

Most of the early work is getting the numbers out of your team's heads. The build comes after.

Want to plan ahead? Use our upkeep list to keep lead times and specs from going stale

  1. Week 1

    Capability interview

A video call with whoever quotes your jobs. We go process by process and write down materials, tolerances, part sizes and order quantities.

  2. Week 2

    Limits and lead times

We agree on the work you will not take and the lead time ranges you can stand behind, busy months included.

  3. Weeks 2 to 3

    Page map and copy

We plan a page for each process and write it in plain, exact language. You check every number before design starts.

  4. Weeks 3 to 5

    Design for scanning

Tables, short lines and clear units that read well on a laptop at a desk and on a phone at the machine.

  5. Weeks 5 to 7

    Build and file setup

We build on WordPress, upload your spec sheets and drawings, and set up a quote form that accepts file uploads.

  6. Weeks 7 to 8

    Launch and handover

We go live, test every download and form, and train your estimator. Fixes are on us for 30 days.

Checklist

What a capabilities page must show

Open your current site and look for each item. Every gap is an email a buyer has to send, and some will move on instead.

  • Processes you run in-houseAnd the ones you send out, so nobody assumes you do the plating when a partner does it.
  • Materials by name and gradeFor example 6061 aluminum, 304 stainless or ABS, plus the ones you avoid.
  • Tolerances you hold every dayThe standard tolerance for each process, and the tighter number you can hit on request.
  • Part size limitsMachine envelope or bed size, the heaviest part you handle and the smallest part you run.
  • Order quantitiesYour minimum order, the run size where your price is best and the most you can make in a month.
  • Lead time rangesOne range for standard work and one for rush jobs, with the date you last updated them.
  • Certifications and drawingsEach certification with its standard and expiry date, plus a sample drawing or spec sheet to download.
Plans and pricing

Pricing and plans for web design in Garland

Price follows page count. A shop with a few processes often fits in six pages: home, capabilities, three process pages and a quote page. That is our $1,400 plan. Shops with many processes need a bigger site, and catalogs of 30 or more pages use our largest plan.

FAQ

Questions from the shop floor and the front office

Plain answers for plant managers, estimators and service business owners. Still curious? Email sales@keygrow.co.

For a shop that needs six pages or fewer, it is $1,400 one time, with copywriting and a WordPress build in the price. Plants with many processes usually need a bigger site at $2,800. A catalog of 30 or more pages runs $5,600.

Most sites take six to eight weeks. The pace depends on how fast your team confirms the numbers, because we will not publish a tolerance nobody checked. Large stores and custom tools can take 10 to 12 weeks.

Some will. But a competitor can't copy your machines or your people, and a buyer can't send a drawing to a shop whose limits they can't see. Post capability and ranges, and keep exact job prices for the quote.

Yes. A plain line like 'no titanium' or 'max part length 48 inches' saves you from quoting jobs you would turn down later. It also tells buyers you know your shop.

Post a range and the date you last updated it, like '3 to 5 weeks, updated Oct. 1.' A buyer can plan around that. We set it up as two simple fields, so your estimator can keep it current.

We advise against it. An engineer comparing shops wants the sheet now and has no reason to hand over an email yet. Put the quote form after the specs, where the buyer is ready to talk.

Yes. We add a file upload for a PDF drawing or a CAD file. We agree on file types and size limits with you, and each request lands in the inbox you choose.

Every one you hold, with the full standard name, such as ISO 9001:2015 or AS9100D, and its scope. Link the certificate and keep the expiry date current. An expired certificate on your site hurts more than a missing one.

Yes. Swap tolerances for what a homeowner checks: the jobs you do, a price range, your service area, hours and license number. Put those on the first screen and keep pages light, since many Garland homes get online through a phone plan alone.

The person who quotes your jobs, because they know first when a number changes. We train them on the WordPress editor before launch, and lead times and certificate dates each get a field of their own.
